For those who love trekking, outside the house you can walk towards Capo Falcone, a splendid promontory above Stintino’s crystal clear waters, thanks to a small muletrack, approximately an hour’s walking distance, once you get to the tower of Capo Falcone, you’ll witness with your own eyes the most breathtaking view of the splendid island of Asinara with it’s golf in the background, wellworth your fatique and effort!!

small boat of Bed and breakfast Stintino - Sardinia During your walk, you might be so lucky to come across the typical mediterranea fauna: Sardinian wild boars, eagles, wild pigs, foxes and if it’s your lucky day you might even come across the rare griffon vulture which maintains today only few species in the west of the island, along the coast between Bosa and Alghero, l’Argentiera and Stintino right up to the Asinara Island.

We highly recomend you to take a day trip to the Asinara National Park, thanks to daily boat trips you will be able to visit one of the most uncontaminated places in the Med; infact only until a few years ago, this island was used as maximum security prison , thanks to which it has preserved and kept its wild and unspoilt state to this very day. Today we can still see the unique white Albanian donkey, typical land mark from which the island originally gets its name from.
